What is so Special About The Berkeley? I thought residents needed to have a military affiliation to live at Patriots Colony, but this is not true for Enhanced Living. Patriots Colony welcomes everyone to assisted living. Moving into an apartment here has helped me retain as much independence as possible. Many people here only need some help with the everyday tasks of life, such as bathing, dressing, or medication reminders. I feel more secure with assistance readily available, and so does my family. The nice thing about my new apartment is that it is a cozy home. I have my own belongings and some furniture here, and I feel like I belong.
