Over the years I have worked with many residents and prospective residents and have marveled at their past accomplishments. Yet, these wonderful folks are not at all content to "kick back" and stop getting involved in all sorts of interests. These residents are intelligent, they are achievers, and they want to continue to savor all that life has to offer.

Our residents often are looking for a more balanced lifestyle in which they can pursue wellness -- physically, mentally and spiritually. Often, their lifestyles have become a bit too complex and the house that has served them so well in years past has become too much of a burden. House upkeep has taken time away from the activities they enjoy or want to enjoy. Once at Patriots Colony, they often react like children on Christmas morning -- so much to do and enjoy and always a new gift or interest to unwrap!

I take great delight in seeing residents grab hold of this wonderful opportunity that is a new freedom to explore, to grow and just have fun. All that and more is theirs, coupled with the peace of mind that if there is a need for help, the help and care are right here within their community among friends.
