atriots Colony residents do not have to worry about traveling to the bank during inclement weather or on days when they simply choose to stay home.  Harbor Bank just opened a new branch in the Cannon Community Center, with hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.
 “We’re delighted to be offering services to Patriots Colony,” said Charles Edmonson, Vice President with Harbor Bank. “Everyone including Ginger Knight, Patrots Colony Administrator, and the Residents’ Council group have been inviting and warm to us,” he added.  Melissa O’Brien is the Customer Service Representative residents will come to know, if they choose to use one of the many services available there.  
 A “Golden Checking Account” is available to residents, with no service charge on accounts with direct deposit.  Other benefits such as a Visa check card and interest earned on the entire balance also apply to this special deal.   Harbor also has CD’s with special terms and interest rates for interested parties.  
 Harbor Bank offers the traditional services you may expect from a hometown bank.  Among these are loans, safe deposit boxes with a range of sizes and prices, and money market accounts with check writing privileges.   “We plan to offer investment services in early to mid 2003,” said Charles who mentioned more information on this is forthcoming.
 Residents of Patriots Colony have many services right on campus, including The Shoppe for cards and gifts, a beauty parlor and barber shop, and a resource center with copier, fax, and computer.  Harbor Bank is located in the same corridor as other services for residents’ convenience.
